Access All Areas members have a great set of experimental textures to download this week, courtesy of Aksel Larsen from AL’s Design Studio. These glitch halftone textures feature heavy digital distortion to produce a series of complex images that can be used as interesting backgrounds to your designs, or to apply glitch effects to your artwork. There’s 36 files to choose from, each with a unique appearance. At a size of 4960x7016px with 300ppi resolution they’re incredibly detailed and suitable for even the largest of print design projects.

Vittoria Light is a flared serif display typeface inspired by a strange mix of 1970s and classic roman type. It comes with a great selection of glyphs and is packed with OpenType features, including Proportional Lining Figures, Tabular Lining Figures, Superior & Inferior Figures, Numerators & Denominators, Ordinals and Fractions, making it perfect for logos, posters, packaging, headlines, and more.
I’ve been busy playing around with a bunch of geometric shapes to produce a collection of seamlessly repeating patterns for you to download. These 10 geometric pattern swatches come in vector format for Adobe Illustrator, a .PAT library for Adobe Photoshop, and tileable PNG images for maximum compatibility with other applications. Use them to quickly add colourful backgrounds to your artwork, or to cover large areas of mediums such as fabric or wrapping paper.

Imperioosa is a hand-made all-caps sans-serif that comes in regular and outline styles. It’s inspired by vintage motorcycle culture and can be used to create great quote art, logos, clothing labels, event posters, album covers and more.
Access All Areas members have a great new brush pack to download for Adobe Illustrator, thanks to Guerillacraft. The 1950s Artist Brush Pack contains 19 seamless pattern based brushes and 20 art brushes to help you create vector paintings and line art. Inspired by 1950s illustration, these brushes are made by hand using ink, old brushes and finger-smudging, scanned in high-resolution, cleaned up and turned to vector tools.
