I’ve seen these fun pop art style magazine cover doodles springing up in many of the design inspiration galleries lately, but I never realised they’re all the works of two talented ladies! Ana Strumpf is a Designer, Illustrator and Vogue Columnist from Brazil who is famous for her Re.Cover art series. Hattie Stewart is a London based Illustrator whose doodle-bombing has led to her working with big name brands and having her work exhibited around the world. Both of them have a range of brilliant reimagined magazine covers that have been enhanced with hand drawn patterns and embellishments. Check out this showcase for a taster of their fun artwork.
Cool doodles! We used to do this kind of stuff on our school exercise books as kids but instead of praise we got detention for defacing school property!
Haha exactly! One of the reasons I wanted to share these works is to show how you make a name for yourself with all kinds of artwork.
Hm, funny, but a king of creepy too. Would put such a thing on my kids bedroom…haha
Are they Photoshop-ed or are they real?! LOL These are hilarious, but, cool! Thanks for sharing. I hadn’t seen any of this art before!

Loving the Day of the Dead style on those last two.
