Vector and Vexel Art are two techniques of creating highly realistic images using Photoshop or Illustrator. As the name suggests, Vector Art is built entirely of vector graphics whereas Vexel art is pixel based, but the process is very similar in that layers and layers are drawn to form the overall portrait. Although these vector drawings are extremely lifelike and show an extremely high level of technical expertise, I’m not sure that they actually involve that much creativity. Which is quite rare for a Spoon Graphics showcase.

I’m more familiar with bitmap work than vector art. These examples are quite interesting and inspiring. I’m only now getting into web design at a level that I guess one would describe as “beyond basic.” Recently I’ve worked on an escort design site for escort web design.
