As one of the most famous art movements Cubism has been a source of inspiration for both traditional and modern digital artists in recent history. The use of abstract geometric forms is especially popular in digital art with software applications often being based on simple shapes. In today’s post I showcase an inspirational collection of modern artworks and designs that have a clear touch of cubist style with their abstract characteristics and geometric construction.
Loving the elegant designs Chris.
Some of these could pass off as Picasso paintings ;) x
Really nice collection ! I’m not used to see a lot of these, it’s a real pleasure :) !
I also would have added James White’s creations by the way, there are some that really are mad !
Keep up the good work ;)
These are really lovely styles. Cubism adds abstract attitude to design while retaining just the right amount of details.
I always loved the way cubism work looked. The different shades of colors and etc is amazing. Maybe I should give cubism a try sometime.

I could look at these all day…Borderline and Cupcake are the stand outs for me.
I can just imagine them hanging on a totally white wall opposite a stunning ocean view – Hopefully mine one day :)
Great share Chris
Thanks for the compilation Chris! This style of art is so cool, also check out the art of Tim Biskup, he has some cool stuff using the same style.
