Logo mockup templates are clever PSD files that allow you to easily place your logo onto various surfaces to create realistic simulations of how your design would look as a real life print. These logo mockups are especially useful for presenting your designs to clients, or showing off your work in your portfolio. Seeing a design mocked up as a luxurious print helps give the design a tangible quality that isn’t represented in a logo’s basic black and white design.

  1. Might be a bit niche but I’d love to see one that simulates a design underneath a cabochon (domed glass). I’m working on something now. Would be good for doing quick mockups of jewellery that doesn’t yet exist in real life :)

Would need circles and squares at least.

  2. Thanks, Chris. It is because of people like you, not only very creative, but wanting to share his knowledge, that I am continuously learning. I didn’t even know what mock-ups were until I saw them on your sites. I am now learning how to manipulate them and improve my design work.

  3. Beautiful stuff! A wider variety than I have seen anywhere else. You have quality items for sure.

  4. Amazing! both your designs and your spirit – thanks for remind us what we all learned as children -to share.

  5. I always get so exited when I come across a bunch of useful freebies, like these ones here! I feel like a child with a new toy who wants to explore it! These are great Chris so a big thank you to you. I will definitely be sharing them on my blog designkioski.com.
    Rock on! :)

  6. Great and Effective way for client suggestions…No More Guess…No imagination, It’s a real way of hit on the spot.

    • Very unlikely as they will almost certainly be in the proprietary PSD format and contain layers, actions, and such like. Even if you could convert the graphical part you would probably lose any of the ‘magic’ bits.

I’d highly recommend diving into Photoshop CC if you can afford it. Although it’s a monthly subscription now, there are VERY good deals if all you want is PS and Bridge.

      • Rosie I am a Paint Shop Pro user and I can open PSD files in that. Sometimes if a style or certain effect has been used it will only open as a flat file (not layered) but moostly they are fine. I’m not sure about CorelDraw, but as PSP is Corel software it might be worth a try? Alternatively you can get a trial version of PSP from Corel’s website. If finances are an issue it is a much more cost effective alternative. HTH
